Wizz Air partners with Caravelo and Launches First Flight Subscription in Europe

BARCELONA – April 20, 2023 – Wizz Air, the 7th largest airline in Europe, today announced the launch of its new flight subscription program for the Italian and Polish markets. The innovative product is result of the partnership with Caravelo, a travel-tech company that provides subscription solutions to the travel industry. This is the first time an airline launches a flight subscription in Europe.

Just a few months after announcing the partnership with Caravelo, Wizz Air is taking European travel to a new level with its new flight subscription program, MultiPass. For a 6-month period, passengers will be able to fly Domestic Italy and International Poland routes, booking up until 5 days before departure. For a fixed monthly fee, subscribers can choose between one way or round-trip flights, and customize their plan with ancillaries.

“It’s great to work with Wizz Air and see our product enter the European market for the first time. This announcement represents a significant milestone for our company and demonstrates our strength and commitment to innovation”, commented Iñaki Uriz, Caravelo CEO.

Jose Luis Vilar, Caravelo co-founder and CPTO added, “Launching MultiPass just a few months after announcing the partnership with the airline is proof of the efficiency of our team, and the rapid growth of our company. We are proud to work with an innovative airline like Wizz Air, and look forward to transforming air travel in Europe.”

The announcement comes in the wake of a recent series of success stories that came out of Caravelo, including the first year anniversary of Alaska’s Flight Pass.
